Bipolar disorder is a chronic mental illness, and generally, its causes are not clearly defined in psychology. It affects approximately 1% of the population. In our view, the origin of this illness is a form of jinn possession, a specific type of affliction that persists throughout life. It may begin with magic performed by jinn or humans. Therefore, any Quranic treatment for a limited period will not be effective for patients because the jinn possession is chronic, and consequently, the mental illness itself becomes chronic.
